I love a lei!

There's nothing better than a warm Hawaiian breeze and the smell of plumeria. Here is Ella with her first lei upon arrival at the Kona airport.

Swings and hugs

Like most kids, these guys love swinging. Liam is a big easier to catch in the frame than his sister. And she takes many opportunities to catch him in a big squeeze...

Starting off in California

We took a big trip for our March break this year - 3000+ miles out to California and then another 2000 or so more out to Hawaii. We started off with a few days in Calaveras County, CA with my folks and had a great time thawing our bones and gearing up for the tropical weather! Ella and Liam loved the deep bathtub and had some great fun playing in there together. Liam has turned into quite a little climber and was really likes to show off his flexibility and reach...

March

It is hard to believe that my last post was right after Liam's birthday. A lot has happened since then!! The little guy is walking all over - and has been since late March - and is actually sleeping a lot better than before (which is, of course, not saying a great deal). Ella is growing up so fast and has really become a four-year-old, though she has another 40-some days until her birthday. That doesn't bother her too much, she sings Happy Birthday and wraps presents up for herself everyday, so we're getting a LOT of good practice in for the big day. Here are some pictures from our pillow mountain right before March break...

More birthday for Buddy

We had a birthday gathering for Liam yesterday (postponed by two weeks due to illness) and it was such a treat to have 12 Choate kiddies together - ranging in ages from four years to two months. My friend Emily suggested getting a group shot, which we did, and I know that I will treasure this for years to come!

I feed myself

Liam was getting a bit bored of food... until he realized he could control the spoon. Look out, everyone!

A boy and his dog

I love this look from Bianca, who is almost saying, "Buddy, I don't even chew on the woodwork."
