As mentioned before, I will try to be a bit more faithful to the blog in the future and update at least a couple times a month, so please check back if you'd like more Mini-Morris News!

A new normal
Here are some more pictures of life over the past three or so weeks. We've had adventures both outside and inside of the house (especially as our house, yard and dorm have been under construction since early June and will be through mid-August!) this summer and look forward to many more now that Choate Summer Programs are over and Will will be on true vacation!!
Thank goodness for grandparents!
As we attempt to settle into life with three kids, Will and I have had tremendous help from our families, who always seem willing to drop everything, come to Wallingford, hold babies, change diapers, do dishes, fold laundry, cook meals, etc. We are eternally grateful to Grandma (called "Bahnya" by Liam), Poppa, Grammie ("Bahnyie", of course) and Gop ("Bop") for all that they've done for this arrival, as well as the past two!!
Sisterly love
Ella is certainly taken with her new sister and has spent a great deal of time watching her, playing with her, bathing her, etc. She certainly seems to enjoy helping out and caring for Nora. Liam, too, steals kisses any chance he can get and likes to touch his head to Nora's for little snuggles here and there, but has been harder to catch on film.
Coming home...
We brought Nora home on the Fourth of July to a house full of family - her two new siblings, her four grandparents and, of course, her dog, Bianca. She was so peaceful on the car ride from the hospital that we were a bit nervous introducing her to the chaos we call home, but in true newborn fashion, Nora just blocked out the noise and mayhem and only seemed to struggle sleeping in the quiet of the middle of the night!
Nora Jane Morris
Though no one was expecting it one week before due date, labor started at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 2nd, so we put the kids to bed, made our arrangements and headed for the hospital. The labor and delivery process was intense, but straightforward and brief, and at 12:02 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012, Nora Jane Morris made her debut at Yale New Haven Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs, 5 oz and measured 20.5 inches, just like her older sister, Ella, and certainly bore a resemblance as well. As the days and weeks have gone on, however, we see so much more of her own features, expressions and personality developing and love the glimpses of the person that Nora is becoming.
High time!!
After a one-year hiatus from the blog, I am determined to make my return and attempt to stay updated on our newly grown family! Nora Jane Morris joined our clan on July 3rd, 2012 and is charming us all with her wide-eyed stares, incessant hiccups and ever-changing expressions. Ella, 5, and Liam, 2.5, are both doing very well and seem to adore every aspect of their new little sis, though both cover their ears instantly when she starts to cry.
