Just plain goofy!

Ella was given some "fancy" bracelets by a friend (thanks, Kir!) and decided that she wanted to get a bit gussied up, so we found some necklaces and made a crown, but then it couldn't stop until we had made crowns for everyone in the fam. Here is the goofy family portrait of us as royalty. Too bad there wasn't a painter around.
Liam on his own

Here are some random shots of the little man on his own. If you're paying attention, you may have noticed that my narratives are getting shorter. Life with two is a bit more hectic, to be sure, so as soon as it settles down a bit, we'll get back to more stories... For now, I will content myself with getting photos out before these kids graduate from high school.
Love
Tonight, before tucking her in, I asked Ella who loved her - and she responded, "Mama, Dada, LIAM!" with a big smile. She absolutely loves her little brother and he cannot get enough of watching her... Last night, she allowed us to have a relatively peaceful dinner, as she entertained him in his bouncy chair. As Will would say, it was one of those times when 1 + 1 equaled less than 2! Here are some funny shots of the pair.

Liam is getting bigger!
Aquariums and Zoos

We have made a couple special trips lately - one up to Mystic, CT to sing "Baby Beluga" at the Aquarium and make a pilgrimage to Mystic Pizza, and another to Bridgeport to the Beardsley Zoo (and its merry-go-round!) with some friends. After starting at the Ray Touch Tank at the aquarium and getting the chance to get her hands in the water, she was insistent upon touching all other exhibits, including the sharks. We ended up with some tears as a result, but in the end, had a great visit. Here are a couple of the best shots that we got from these adventures!
Catching up... on posts, and sleep (someday).
