Pause...

Whew!  That was a lot of work!  I am going to take a break, but will get back to the postings ASAP.  In the meantime, here is a parting shot...

Pics with mom

As a stay-at-home mom, I spend all days and nights with my kids.  Sometimes, it makes me crazy that I never get a real break, but I always know that I wouldn't give it up for anything.  These three are a whole lot of fun.

Dressing up

Ella and Liam really enjoy dressing up these days, and for a long time that has meant hand-me-down dresses, skirts and fake heels - even for Liam.  As a Christmas present, we augmented the collection with a number of new gender-neutral items.  But alas, he still enjoys a fabulous dress - and with legs like his, who could blame him!?

Lotsa family!

With holiday season, we had the chance to spend nice time with both of our extended families.  The kids and I spent almost two weeks out in Washington (Will had to head back a bit early to get back to work) at Thanksgiving and then we had nice visits in Long Island and the Adirondacks around Christmas.  We are hoping for even more family time in 2013!

Family shots

Will, Hannah, Ella, Liam and Nora - we make quite a crew.  What an adventure this is!

Miss Nora Jane Morris

This little girl is growing so much and delights us daily.  We are starting to get a real feel for her personality and she is such a love.

Adventurers

We have had a number of adventure hikes and really enjoyed seeing the kids get out and get dirty.

Sweet Beeks

Bianca is nearing 13 and doing incredibly well.  Liam really adores and abuses her.  We all feel lucky that she's stayed with us so long!!

Too good to miss

This is out of order (these photos came from Sue's iPhone from August) but these two pics are far too good to pass up.  They were taken on the ferry to Burlington, VT on a gorgeous, sunny day!

One, two, three

I love getting pics of the three kids together to try to capture their respective ages, but it is certainly no easy task.  Here are some of my best attempts.

Halloween

Nora wasn't in the mood to dress up this year, so we had one night sky (note the moon painted on her face) and one dig-dig guy (who painted his own face).  It was a great night with friends and lots of treats!  After visiting each house, Liam would yell to me, "Mama, mo' tanee!" ("More candy")  He was incredulous at all the generosity.

Out of doors!

We spent a lot of wonderful time outdoors this fall, releasing the butterflies we raised, riding bikes, and just hanging out.
