Bro and sis

Though they've been getting into more conflicts lately, as Liam has become much more mobile and is very interested in grabbing Ella's toys, they still share many sweet moments each day. Here are a couple caught on film.

Yes, it's red!

Well, Liam's hair is still officially red - though I would probably say auburn or copper, but it is in the red spectrum! It really surprises people and everyone asks us where it comes from... Although it isn't predominant in either of our families, we both have red on our mothers' sides and are thrilled to see it show up in our generation.

Ellabelle

She has grown up so much in the last few months - it's incredible. From starting school to visiting the dentist to threatening to put mom into "time outs" and more, our little girl is wowing us every day with the maturity of her turns of phrase and attitudes. It is amazing how hilarious, frustrating and satisfying it can be to raise a three-year-old... Here are a couple recent pics of our Ella.

Catching up...

It's been over a month since I've taken the time to update the blog, so I think that it's finally time! Will has been able to get a few shots of me and the kids, so we'll start with those...

So for a while, Liam really didn't seem interested in eating solid foods. When he first started at 4.5 months, he ate eagerly, but then just lost the enthusiasm and started gagging and shuddering at anything I gave him. Then one day Ella wanted to feed him, and he ate happily. Now he is back to eating like a champ! Thanks, sis!

Big sis and little bro

Though she's most often getting right in his face and yelling "Boo!", Ella is still Liam's favorite person to watch - he always follows her around the room with his eyes, shivering excitedly and laughing when she comes near. It's hard to say if that is all enthusiasm and love or if there is some small element of fear, but either way, it is very sweet.

Little guy

Liam is still Mr. Sunshine, happy and easy going most of the time. If he let me sleep more, I'd have a lot more to write right now, but for now, I'm going to let the pictures do the talking...
